Introduction

Extreme sport (also called action sport, adventure sport, and adventurous sport) is a term for certain activities perceived as having a high level of inherent danger or difficult and often involving speed, height, a high level of physical exertion, and highly specialized gear or spectacular stunts. The experience extreme sports persons have can not be felt by other people. The idea is to do live sharing of these thrilling experiences with other people using sim technology. The objective is to give a flexible solution which would help sports person to do live sharing through their perspective.

Third Eye

Third Eye is a live sharing device specifically targeted to extreme sportsmen. Using the existing SIM technology, sportsmen can share their perspective with other people. The flexibility of the product enables it to be used in any kind of extreme sports.

The length of "third eye" is 59.89 mm which provides flexibility to the product, so that it can be placed onto the eyewear easily. The purpose of placing "third eye" onto the eyewear is that it provides the viewers with the same viewpoint as that of the sportsmen.

People can further create communities for sharing these clips on different extreme sports. Some video sharing communities like youtube, metacafe, etc. can be used for live sharing. The videos captured by "third eye's" camera can be directly sent to these community servers with the help of the telecom service provider. The service provider can send the data to web services, TV or mobile phones which will in turn show the video taken by “third eye”. All extreme sportsmen can be identified by their "SIM" identity.

Other features

GPS technology is used to track all the sportsmen. The web based community can display the track/path of every sportsman which shall further acquaint the viewers to the different spots where such sports are carried out.

The "Third Eye" consists of Bluetooth which can be connected wirelessly to Bluetooth head phones to listen to music. The music volume can be controlled by the "volume control ring" as shown in the above image.

It runs on a USB battery which can be charged through laptops, computers, etc. and it also has a memory chip which can be used to store music.

The autonomous behavior and flexibility of the third eye helps the LIVE sharing of experiences between sportsmen and viewers. People can experience the same thrill even when at home, office, etc. through mobiles, internet, TV, etc. In addition to this “third eye” can also be used to share family functions, parties, etc.
